It was easy to assemble, took about 20 minutes. It is a little darker than the picture, more of a light cherry than an oak, but it looks great with my decor so I was thrilled. It is sturdy and the bench works perfectly. The storage in the bench is easy to access and a good size for storing snow suits and the heavy winter gear we do not use often.

This is a very nicely made item and a beautiful piece, well worth the price. It is made of real wood, not particle board, it is very sturdy and has a beautiful finish. You will need someone to help you put it together, especially to hold the bottom pieces while the other person screws them together. My wife and I put it together in about 1 hour. The picture doesn't do it justice. We are both very pleased with this item.

An attractive piece, functional, sturdy and solid wood. We've gotten a number of compliments on it, and it's great for storing hats, gloves, frisbees, etc. while still having a place to sit, take off your shoes and hang up your coat.
It was slightly non-intuitive to put together, but the directions were clear and correct. One piece was damaged in shipping, but only required a bit of wood glue to repair.
